Differences to base 5e

This is a quick reference of what differs from the original 5e ruleset released under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0.

Races

The typical concept of character races has been replaced with two distinct parts of a character, an ancestry and a culture.

Attributes

There is a recommended standard array in addition to a common attribute increase for character that is not dependent on what ancestry is selected. Attribute increases has been removed from ancestries.

Classes

Multi-classing

This optional rule have been left out due to the desire to instead empower each class and its sub-classes more.

Please note that a character can still adopt features or similar from other classes than what has been selected but this should be done through in-game adventuring and dedication.

Warlock

Does not spell points for casting spells but instead use manifestations that is an independent mechanic.

Spell points

Instead of spell slots, this system uses spell points which is a more generic resource that allow more flexibility when playing a caster.
